Refunds & cancellations

We want every cake to be right. Here's how cancellations and refunds work.

1. Before you pay

You can cancel an unpaid order at any time from your order page (or your private order link). Nothing is charged.

2. Standard cakes after payment

Because standard cakes are baked for the next working day, a paid order can be cancelled for a full refund until [[OWNER: confirm — cut-off, e.g. 17:00 the day before your date]]. After that, baking has started and we cannot refund.

3. Bespoke cakes after payment

Bespoke cakes reserve one of a few weekly slots and involve design work. Cancellation terms: [[OWNER: confirm — refund percentages by notice period, e.g. full refund 7+ days before pickup, none within 48 hours]].

4. If something is wrong

Please contact us on the day, with photos, at [[OWNER: customer contact email]] or [[OWNER: phone number in +2547… format]]. We'll put it right with a replacement or refund where the fault is ours. Once a cake has left our studio with your own rider, we are not responsible for damage in transit.

5. How refunds are paid

Refunds go back the way you paid (bank transfer or M-Pesa), normally within [[OWNER: confirm — number of working days]].
